Black Box
Each stage hides a secret machine that transforms data. Probe inputs, watch outputs, deduce the rule, then predict results to 'crack' the machine. Endless and ever-harder.
Objective
Discover the machine's hidden rule by probing inputs, then correctly predict the output for new inputs to crack it. Cracking unlocks a harder machine.
Controls
- Tap a cell to change the input color
- Tap 'Run' to see the machine transform it
- Tap 'Predict' then build the correct output yourself
Tips
- Probe simple inputs first (one color, change one cell) to isolate the rule
- Fewer probes = higher score
- The output only needs to be CORRECT — you don't have to name the machine's internal structure
