Lane Racer
Drive and dodge oncoming cars. The further you go the more you score, and the speed keeps rising.
Lane Racer is a fast, pick-up-and-play dodging game about threading your car through oncoming traffic. The rules are dead simple, but the tension ramps up as the speed steadily rises and the gaps between cars start to close. It's the kind of arcade racer where one clean run can keep you glued for just one more try.
How to play
Steer with the left and right arrow keys, tap the left or right half of the screen, or swipe to switch lanes. There's no brake — you're always moving forward, so your only job is to slot into an open lane before you reach the next car. Your score climbs with the distance you cover, and the longer you survive, the faster everything gets.
Tips
- Look far ahead rather than at the car right in front of you, so you can spot an open lane in time.
- Change lanes early and decisively; hesitating until the last moment is how crashes happen.
- Settle into a steady rhythm instead of jerking side to side.
- As speed rises, give yourself more reaction room by committing to lanes sooner.
