Drag Race
Nail the starting lights, then shift each gear inside the power band to blast down the 400m strip. Fast reaction + clean shifts = top trap speed!
Drag Race distills the drama of a quarter-mile sprint into a test of reflexes and timing. You stage at the line, watch the lights, and launch — then it's all about hitting each gear change at exactly the right moment. Nail a clean run and the trap speed at the end tells you just how sharp you were.
How to play
Watch the starting lights and launch the instant they go, since your reaction time sets the tone for the whole run. Down the 400m strip, shift each gear while the engine sits in its power band for maximum acceleration. A fast launch combined with clean, well-timed shifts produces the highest top speed at the finish trap.
Tips
- Focus on the last light and react to it — jumping early can spoil your launch.
- Shift right as the revs peak in the power band, not before and not after.
- Avoid over-revving; bouncing off the limiter wastes precious time.
- Learn the rhythm of the gears through repeat runs to shave tenths off your time.

Objective
Race the full 400m strip in the shortest time. Your score is your finish (trap) speed — higher is better.
Controls
- Christmas tree: amber lights stage down, then it turns GREEN
- Tap/press exactly on green to launch (pressing early = false start)
- Space / tap the screen / the SHIFT button to change up
- Shift while the tacho needle is in the GREEN band for max acceleration
Tips
- A reaction under 0.20s gives the strongest launch
- Shift too early and you bog off the revs; too late (on the limiter) and the engine chokes
- Six gears cover the 400m — keep a steady shifting rhythm
