Space Shooter
Pilot your ship and auto-blast waves of descending enemies. Don't let them hit you or slip past!
Space Shooter is a fast, no-frills arcade blaster that puts you at the controls of a lone ship holding off wave after wave of descending enemies. Your cannon fires automatically, so the whole game is about positioning: sliding into the right lane to rack up hits while weaving out of danger. It is an ideal quick-session game, all reflex and rhythm with no menus to slow you down.
How to play
Steer your ship left and right with the arrow keys, or by swiping and dragging on a touch screen. The ship fires on its own, so your job is to line up your shots and stay alive. You start with three lives, and you lose one whenever an enemy crashes into you or slips past the bottom of the screen.
Tips
- Slide beneath the densest rows of enemies to land the most hits per shot.
- Prioritize dodging over greed; a stray collision costs far more than a missed kill.
- Keep moving so you are never boxed into a corner with nowhere to escape.
- Clear the enemies drifting closest to the bottom edge first.
If cosmic combat suits you, spin into the drifting rocks of Asteroids.
Objective
Shoot down enemy ships (you fire automatically). Keep 3 lives — don't get hit or let them pass the bottom.
Controls
- Arrow keys ← → or swipe/drag to steer your ship
Tips
- Line up under dense rows to hit more
- Prioritise dodging over chasing kills
