Block Drop
Rotate and stack falling blocks to fill horizontal rows. Full rows vanish — don't let the stack reach the top!
Block Drop is the timeless falling-blocks puzzle, where a steady stream of shapes tumbles down and it is up to you to slot them together. The tension comes from the rising stack: every piece you place buys you a little room, but a few misjudged drops and the pile creeps toward the ceiling. Clearing a packed row and watching it vanish never stops feeling good.
How to play
Move the falling piece with the on-screen arrows or the left and right keys, and rotate it with the up arrow or X. You can let a piece settle slowly with the down key or slam it home instantly with Space, and hold a piece for later with C or Shift. Fill an entire horizontal row to clear it; the game ends when a new block has no room to appear.
Tips
- Keep the surface flat and leave one column open for a long I-piece to clear four rows at once.
- Use the faint ghost outline to see exactly where a piece will land.
- Hard-dropping with Space scores more and gives you tighter control.
- Rotate pieces before they fall low so you are never scrambling at the bottom.
If stacking and clearing is your thing, try Brick Breaker or the number-merging 2048.
Objective
Fill a complete horizontal row to clear it and score. The game ends when a new piece has no room to spawn.
