Guess
Deduce the hidden colour code. Each guess is scored for right colour in the right spot, and right colour in the wrong spot.
Guess is a compact code-breaking puzzle in the classic Mastermind tradition. A secret sequence of colours hides behind the board, and it's your job to deduce it through clever guesses and careful reading of the feedback. Each round becomes a small logic problem where the right process of elimination feels genuinely rewarding.
How to play
Make a guess by choosing a colour for each slot in the code, then submit it. The game scores your attempt: one kind of marker shows a colour that is the right colour in the right spot, and another shows a right colour sitting in the wrong spot. Use those clues across successive guesses to zero in on the exact hidden code.
Tips
- Start with a varied guess using several different colours to learn which ones appear at all.
- Track feedback carefully — a "right colour, wrong spot" marker tells you to move that colour elsewhere.
- Change only one or two pegs between guesses so you can clearly attribute any change in the score.
- Rule colours out completely when a guess containing them returns no markers.
If deduction is your thing, test yourself with Sudoku or the picture-logic of Nonogram.
Objective
Guess the hidden colour code within the allowed number of tries.
Controls
- Tap a colour on the palette to fill an empty slot
- Tap a filled slot to clear it
- Press Guess to score the row
Tips
- Green peg = right colour, RIGHT spot
- Grey peg = right colour, WRONG spot
- Use each row's result to narrow it down
