Baccarat
Bet on Player, Banker or Tie, then deal by Punto Banco rules. The side closest to 9 wins.
Baccarat is the elegant, low-effort card game famous from casino floors, and this version plays by standard Punto Banco rules. You never touch the cards yourself; instead you simply bet on which side will land closest to a total of nine. That makes it one of the fastest games to pick up here, with each round settled in a single quick deal.
How to play
Choose your bet amount, then place it on Player, Banker, or Tie. Press deal and both hands are drawn according to the fixed Punto Banco drawing rules. Card values are added up and reduced by tens, so the hand nearest nine wins and your bet pays out accordingly.
Tips
- Remember that 10s and face cards count as 0, and an Ace counts as 1.
- A hand's score is its total modulo 10, so 7 + 8 equals 5, not 15.
- Banker bets win slightly more often but pay 1:1 minus a 5% commission.
- The Tie pays a tempting 8:1, but it lands rarely, so treat it as a long shot.
If casino card games are your thing, deal yourself into Blackjack 21 or Video Poker.
