Tic-Tac-Toe 3×3
Play tic-tac-toe against the computer. Line up 3 in a row to win.
Tic-Tac-Toe 3×3 is the pen-and-paper classic you already know, played against a computer opponent on a clean three-by-three grid. Games last seconds, which makes it perfect for a quick mental break — though the Hard setting plays perfectly and will punish any lazy move, turning a childhood pastime into a genuine little puzzle.
How to play
You play as X. Tap any empty cell to place your mark, then the computer answers with an O. The goal is to line up three of your marks in a row — horizontally, vertically, or diagonally — before your opponent completes a line of their own. Fill the board with no line and the game is a draw.
Tips
- Take the center square whenever it is open; it belongs to more winning lines than any other cell.
- Always check whether the computer has two in a row and block it before making your own play.
- Set up a fork — a move that threatens two lines at once — so your opponent cannot stop both.
- Against the Hard AI a draw is the best realistic result, so play safe and wait for it to slip.
If you like lining pieces up, try Four in a Row or Gomoku next.
